What to Bring to a Cannabis Club: ID, Age and House Rules

The short answer

Bring valid photo ID, make sure you meet the club's age requirement, have your pass ready in your Zazapass account and follow the house rules. The club decides on admission, so a polite, prepared visitor has the best start.

Checklist

1. Valid photo ID. A passport or national ID card. Clubs check age and identity.
2. Age. Adults only, and some clubs set a higher minimum age. Check the club page.
3. Your pass. Open your Zazapass account and have the pass and the club's address ready. A Zazapass Invite Pass covers the entry fee only.
4. Any requirement the club has set, such as an appointment, an invitation or a referral.
5. A phone with battery and a way home. Plan your return before you go.
6. Small change for extras. Food, drinks and anything else are charged by the club and are not covered by the pass.

House rules to expect

• No photos inside unless the club allows them.
• No resale and no taking cannabis out of the club.
• Consumption only where the club allows it.
• Respect for staff, other visitors and neighbours.

What to leave at home

• Expectations of guaranteed entry. A pass never guarantees admission.
• Anyone who is under age.
• Cannabis from outside. Do not bring your own into the club.

If the club says no

Accept the decision and try another participating club, especially if you hold a Multi Invite Pass. Details on how admission works are in how club admission works.

FAQ: First visit

Is a copy of my ID enough?

Usually not. Bring the original valid photo ID.

Can I take photos?

Only if the club allows it. Many clubs do not.

Is the pass printed or digital?

Digital. You find it in your Zazapass account.

Can I bring friends?

Each person needs their own admission, and the club decides. Check the club's requirements.

Find clubs and passes on the pass overview.

Please note: Each club independently decides membership and admission under its own rules and applicable law, and may refuse a visitor. A Zazapass Invite Pass covers the entry fee only. It does not make a visitor a member or guarantee admission. Prices and included clubs can change; the pass page shows the current details.
