Medicine by DHL or Express Pickup: How ZazaXpress Works by City*

The short answer

With a valid prescription, ZazaXpress offers express pickup or delivery* in selected German cities. In all other cities the medicine is shipped by DHL and can therefore be pre-ordered ahead of your trip*. Both routes need a valid prescription, and a prescription is never guaranteed.

Cities with express pickup or delivery

At the time of writing, ZazaXpress runs an express service in:

• Hamburg
• Bremen
• Berlin
• Cologne
• Osnabrück
• Dortmund
• Augsburg
• Leipzig

Munich, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf are planned. Until an express service starts in a city, DHL shipping applies there.

Everywhere else: DHL

In every other German city the medicine is shipped by DHL with a valid prescription. Because it is shipped, it can be pre-ordered ahead of your trip*. You need a delivery address in Germany. How long shipping takes depends on the individual case.

Express or DHL: how to choose

• You are in an express city: express pickup or delivery* may suit you if you need the medicine on short notice and your prescription is valid.
• You plan ahead: DHL shipping lets you pre-order* so the medicine arrives at your German address in time.
• You travel between cities: choose the delivery address where you will actually be.

Before either route: the medical step

Everything starts with the medical questionnaire on zazaxpress.com. A video call is voluntary. A doctor decides whether treatment is an option, and a prescription can only be issued after medical treatment and once all criteria are met. ZazaXpress explained walks through the steps.

Medical patients can request a prescription on zazaxpress.com and use the code ZAZA to save 50% on the platform fee.
