South Africa Entry Pass FAQ

So, you're looking for some cool private spots to hang out in South Africa. Good call. A Zazapass entry pass gets you into a growing list of our partner clubs around the country. This is your personal guide to how it all works, what you get, and where you can use it. Think of it as your key to some of the most interesting private venues. Let's get right to it.

What is a Zazapass Entry Pass?

Simply put, it's a one-time purchase that gives you a full year of access to a specific partner club. You buy it once, and you're good to go for 12 months.

What are the main benefits of a Zazapass Entry Pass?

It's pretty straightforward. First, you save money. You pay once for the pass and then you don't pay the club's entry fee for a whole year, no matter how many times you go. If you visit often, those savings really add up. Plus, an entry pass usually means you get in faster. You can skip the line and get straight to relaxing.

How long is an entry pass valid?

Your pass is good for one full year from the day you buy it. That's 12 months to use it as much as you like.

How much does a South Africa Zazapass Entry Pass cost?

It's EUR 15 for a pass to any of our South African partner clubs. That's a single payment for a whole year of access to the club you choose.

What are the age requirements for Zazapass partner clubs?

You have to be 21 or older. No exceptions. All our partner clubs in South Africa are strictly for adults, so make sure you bring a valid ID to prove your age when you visit.

Where are the Zazapass partner clubs located in South Africa?

Right now, our partner clubs are in Cape Town and Johannesburg. We're always on the lookout for new spots to add, so check our all clubs page every now and then for the latest.

Are there Zazapass clubs in Pretoria?

What about the legal status of cannabis in South Africa?

This is important, so listen up. The law has changed a bit. A 2018 court ruling and the new Cannabis for Private Purposes Act of 2024 have made things clearer about private use. Basically, adults can privately use, possess, and grow cannabis.

What's not legal is buying or selling it. That's still against the law. You also can't smoke in public or drive after consuming. Our partner clubs are private spaces, so they operate within these legal rules.

Let’s be crystal clear about one thing. Your Zazapass entry pass is for getting into the club. That's it. It does not let you buy cannabis at the club. We always recommend you stay up to date with the latest South African laws to make sure you're on the right side of them.

How do I purchase a Zazapass Entry Pass?

It's easy. You can buy your entry pass right here on our website. Just go to the page for the club you want to join, for example The Alibi Cape Town, and follow the steps. Once you've paid, we'll show the club's full address in your Zazapass account.

Where can I find more information?

Want to know more? You can read our other guides, see all available passes, or look at the full list of clubs. Everything you need to choose the right spot is right here.

FAQ

How do I get the club's address?

Once you've bought your Zazapass entry pass, the club's exact address will pop up in your personal account on our site. We keep the addresses private to maintain the exclusivity of the clubs.

Can I buy cannabis with my Zazapass entry pass?

No. Your entry pass is just for getting into the club. It has nothing to do with buying cannabis, which is not commercially legal in South Africa anyway.

What if I visit a club more than once a month?

Awesome. That's exactly what the pass is for. The best part is you save the entry fee every single time you go for a whole year. The more you go, the more money you save.
